Imperial Resistance- Mixed Media Artwork

Imperial Resistance is a Dust & Beau original, built from a collision of worlds we love — ancient sculpture, cyberpunk energy, and raw street protest grit. We took a classical Greek figure and dropped her straight into an urban riot of neon pink tags, distressed textures, and Japanese typography.
It feels like a statue dropped into a future she never agreed to, standing firm while neon revolt burns around her.
It’s graffiti, mythology, and rebellion fused into one loud, unapologetic portrait.

PROCESS
We created this piece using acrylic paint, mixed-media collage, spray paint overlays, hand-cut elements, and layered texture work to give it that worn-wall, street-level depth. The Japanese text, masked portrait, and gold-tear details were added in passes to bring the whole thing into a neo-punk, cyber-street mythology. High-resolution scans are captured for archival-quality giclée prints.
